Updates + Love Notes

This year was—among many other milestones—one for rolling with the punches. For the first time in many-a decade, humankind was forced out of its comfort zone and into the unknown...resulting in a lot of good, a lot of bad, and a whole lot of creativity. Through spring, summer, fall, and winter, we watched as many of our favorite content makers across the globe grappled with producing engaging content with one proverbial hand tied behind their backs (c/o COVID). We were delighted to find how many folks are just really good at improvising—big-budget kingpins and local makers, organizers, and shakers, alike (high-fives and back-pats all around for the latter).

We consider it our COLLECTIVE duty to provide pretty, witty, and architecturally astute content to the SLC masses, and this year we found ourselves unable to rely on so many of the stand-bys you all love so much (see: gathering in restaurants, gathering in Life In Your Space shoots, gathering atall). And, with so many of you stuck inside and seemingly without a jumping-off point for how to spend solo days and nights (especially in Quarantine Q1), we hoped to offer a helping hand in the way of, quite simply, ideas. We believe there are so many incredible things to do and see in this city...in fact, that notion's kind of our whole deal. And with many of our day-to-day routines put on pause de pandemic, there's more time now than ever to take it all in. The running list of lists below was created with love by us in an effort to get you acquainted—either for the first time ever or the first time in too long—with this salty city we call home. In addition to a number of stunning homes, Places of Worship, and love-filled sentiments, we introduced you to our favorite buildings in the city and some stellar movie-magic manors. We brought you our fave local eateries from which to carry out and the prettiest foliage-heavy hikes. We created playlists for your Saturday nights at Club Casa, and some pretty craftily curated shopping guides. Without further ado, here's our list of Top 25 Lists from Quarantine, 2020. Dig in.
