SLC is on the rise, people, and it should come as no surprise. We've been touting our salty praises on the pages of this site for quite some time now. There's plenty of good to boast about 'round here, and it seems folks worldwide are taking notice. We know that there are charming homes and condos aplenty spread out across this valley, but we will always rally around those that are striving not only to bring new architecture, but to bring good architecture to SLC.

Enter Urban Alfandre.

The group is comprised of two brothers, Steve and James, who've made it their mission to create "urban spaces that are designed and built around the human experience". And, with an aspiration like that, we're on board already. You may recognize James' name from his involvement with Granary Row--the shipping container project in the Warehouse district that made good use of an under-utilized area by adding shops, a beer garden, and a community gathering space (the project also won the 2014 AIA Urban Design and Jury awards). The Alfandres believe that there is value in "great design and well-located projects"--a notion we wholeheartedly support. And we're particularly excited about their newest project...

It's called Row 17.

The project is a set of 32 townhomes on 1700 S (right by Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade, so your brunches for the foreseeable future will be covered). The team behind Row 17 has elected the hand of cityhomeCOLLECTIVE to be their exclusive marketing team, and we're thrilled as hell to keep you all in the loop on what these folks are up to. Think: super-sleek yet light 'n' bright townhomes, soaring ceilings, big, beautiful windows...and it's all just a short walk to the all the up-n-coming-ness of 1700 S, Liberty Wells, and the goods at Liberty Park. Want a beautifully-designed, perfectly-situated slice of SLC to call your own?

Call 801.718.5555 to get on the interest list.

Tucked among scrub oak and trembling aspen up Little Cottonwood Canyon, the cabin owned by Molly and Sam Grenlie is a true place of solace. Architecturally-speaking, it is a study in form and function but for the souls within these walls, this home means so much more than just architectural intent.
