Feast your eyes on this, people. Original mid-century modern mecca in original mid-century modern form. This home is so serendipitously representative of what we love that an actual rainbow came out for the photos. A rainbow.

updates are great, but historical integrity can't be replicated

We've only given you a peek at the exterior (and a wee bit of the incredible interior) in the images below. But suffice it to say, this one is the rarest of finds. Buried in Holladay proper on 1.65 acres of Mother Nature's best stuff, it's all clean lines and gaping windows and original materials and whatnot. Our COLLECTIVE opinion? Whomever lands in this home won't need to do much…updates are great, but historical integrity can't be replicated, and this structure has it in spades. We're envisioning parties of the highest order, sliders wide open, so that your guests can spill out onto one of many terraces or wander the grounds. This is the stuff of mid-century dreams and well-lived wishes. A perfectly-preserved residence in a pristine setting. Our advice: keep a close proximity to your computer/phone/tablet in the coming days…you'll likely want to know when this pot of gold hits the market.

Tucked among scrub oak and trembling aspen up Little Cottonwood Canyon, the cabin owned by Molly and Sam Grenlie is a true place of solace. Architecturally-speaking, it is a study in form and function but for the souls within these walls, this home means so much more than just architectural intent.
