Candle Dipping with Little Bear Beeswax Candles

February 1st marks the midway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

Also known as Imbolc and Saint Brigid's Day; traditions through the ages have celebrated this time as the true beginning of spring. Many of us at cityhome are somewhere between hibernation, winter sport stoke, and watching the real estate market slowly defrost. During this time, we place a lot of value on reflecting on the last lunar year while starting to set plans in motion for the coming cycle. While we're not quite ready for a full-blown spring cleaning, we still want to bring light and health into our homes (body and building). If this is ringing true for you at this time, we would like to invite you to join us for a day of candle dipping with Shelley and Billy of Little Bear Beeswax Candles. Billy and Shelley will guide us through the process of candle dipping, while also teaching us about how wax comes to be (thank you bees), and the health benefits of burning beeswax (bye-bye paraffin) all while being wrapped up in the aroma of warm beeswax. If you haven't experienced it, this smell is unlike anything else! You'll go home with a set of your very own hand-dipped beeswax candles; your body and house will thank you.

Saturday, February 10th, 90 min sessions beginning at 12:00pm and 2:30pm - $40
