Utah, with its breathtaking landscapes and warm-hearted communities, holds a unique place in our hearts as a home that welcomes people from all walks of life. Within this vibrant tapestry of diversity, the Utah Asian Festival shines as a testament to unity, tradition, and the power of cultural celebration. For 46 years, this festival has brought together Asian American communities from across Utah...

creating a space where traditions are honored, connections are forged, and a true sense of belonging is fostered.

The festival's impact goes beyond just being a cultural celebration. Supported by local businesses and organizations, this volunteer-driven event remains accessible and free to all attendees. It showcases not only the food market, commercial and artisan businesses, and health and resource fairs, but also connects new Americans, immigrants, and refugees with the more established ethnic groups in Utah. It is a platform that deeply benefits Utahans of any background, honoring the resilience and perseverance of our state's Asian families.

By shining a spotlight on the richness of Utah's Asian American communities and their diverse experiences, the festival brings attention to the valuable contributions these communities have made to the state. It serves as a reminder of the resilience and perseverance of Asian families in Utah, highlighting their role in shaping the cultural fabric of the region.

This festival is a reflection of the vibrant spirit of Utah, a place that is home to asylum-seekers and individuals like myself who have come from faraway lands but take pride in calling this place our home. It symbolizes the sense of belonging and unity that exists within our community, regardless of our cultural backgrounds. The Utah Asian Festival serves as a reminder that home is not just a physical space; it is a feeling of acceptance, connection, and shared experiences.

Saturday June 3rd | 11:00am - 7:00pm | Grand Building of the Utah State Fairpark 155 N 1000 W

If we design a house, we first go to the land to observe the direction of the wind, the heat of the sun, the soil, the angle of the plane. We pay our respects by antic...

We love our little city and all of the humans that make it such a great place to call home, which is why we’re so passionate about speaking up and speaking out when the moment calls. We decided to channel our frustration around Utahns being stripped of fundamental rights and use it for good.
