Can you feel it? Spring is starting to show her stripes, and with every bud that blooms and each 60º+ day, we grow COLLECTIVELY crazy with anticipation for springtime in SLC. The bulk of the bad air days are behind us (for now), and what better way to celebrate than with a good ol' fashioned benefit for clean air? This year, the Light As Air crew has really outdone themselves, and the always-fun annual event is landing on April 22nd (Earth Day! Yay!). As with years past, the evening will be one filled with inspiring and uplifting dance performances, silent auctions, raffles, a cash bar, and food trucks--all at downtown's beautiful Rose Wagner Theatre. Proceeds of the night will go to the Western Resource Advocates, to aid them in their fantastic fight for clean air in Utah (something we can all rally behind a bit more).
Yearly, this event aspires to bring folks together to connect and inspire through the arts, as well as bring awareness and hope for a future where we can all breathe a little easier. The soiree is always a smash, and this year, the post-bash fun will continue well into the evening at Good Grammar. Mark your calendars up right, and scoot on down to the Rose Wagner this Earth Day (bonus points if you ride your bike, walk, or carpool). Here's to awareness, solutions, and no more bad air days!
