This property is–in just a few words–an absolute home away from home. Yes, we’ve admittedly got a thing for charming homes on a few acres of Mother Nature’s good stuff that entice us to drop everything and start living that #farmlife. But, who doesn’t? This particular sweet spot (which is on the market right now) is especially tempting, so a few from our COLLECTIVE gang (kiddo in tow) headed up to Heber for a day of hot toddies, roasted hot dogs, s’mores, and bonafide country contentment.

It was a scene ripe for the Norman Rockwell-iest painting you can imagine.

We hung out with the goats (the adorable, black one passes out when she’s scared, FYI), dug up carrots and beets (thanks to Natasha for being such a gracious hostess) to take home, and had a swing in the middle of a field. We cozied up around the fire, chatted in the Airstream, took in the views, and bonded with the resident hens (we’re still reeling from the idyllic reality of it all). Hear us now, friends: grab a few animals of your choosing (chickens or pigs or what have you) and call us up. This is farm-to-table heaven and it’s yours for the taking.

There is a moment—quiet, almost imperceptible—when a buyer pulls up, turns off the engine, and looks up at a home for the first time. This is a love letter about what I do and why I do it. I first met Scott & Chris just over a year ago.
