General Quarters | Great Stock!

One of the newest additions to SLC’s retail scene, General Quarters Mountain is peddling quality goods from socks, the softest hoodies and tees, denim, and beanies to a small selection of housewares and accessories. Add to that the fact that it’s housed in an overwhelmingly welcoming space and owned by a fella of the same sort, and we’re squarely smitten with the spot.

With a resume in customer service and retail a mile long, Blair Lucio is no newbie to the world of menswear. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Blair spent the last decade or so living in Los Angeles, where he opened up the original General Quarters. When an itch to create combined with his love for the Beehive State, General Quarters Mountain was born (and we’re certain you’ll be just as enamored with it as we are). The shop is packed with stylish and well-made goods, but after so many years in the biz, customer service is one of Blair’s top priorities, which is probably why you feel like you’ve been wrapped in a giant, store-sized hug immediately upon entering the space.

Located just a stone’s throw from 9th & 9th proper, General Quarters Mountain offers a curated selection of well-made wares, a clean and well-organized space, and good vibes and conversation to whoever walks through the door. All told, we’d say this retail spot’s addition to these salty streets is a welcome one, indeed.
