It's All Bueno | Life in Your Space

6/3/2016 | Corigan Kushma

Have you ever thought to yourself, "I'd really love to live in a little cottage, perched in the midst of the the peace-n-quiet of the country, at the end of a little dirt road." But then, immediately following that, you corrected yourself with a quick, "Waitoh, hell no. I need to be near the city, never mind." Oh, the conflict! We just happen to know a couple of folks who have found the answer to this quandary...and one of the best kept secrets in downtown Salt Lake City. Meet the Bombecks and their perfect little cottage on Bueno Avenue. They've made the cutest home you can imagineon a dirt roadin the city. It's a carefully-curated, inner-block paradise (Kristen's an interior designer with Restoration Hardware, and what we can see here has us swooning). You've likely driven by and just not known what you missed--it's located just inside the block where the new City View Condos will soon be built (a development we'll be selling, by the by), and you'll have to see the quaintness for yourself to believe it. We'll divulge the details soon enough, because Walter and Kristen are moving on, so keep a close eye on the website. Until then, you'll just have to soak in the cuteness below.

The Curious Heart of Salt Lake: Gilgal Gardens + Trolley Square
11/6/2025 | Jennifer Hadfield
We recently passed the keys to a home tucked just beside one of Salt Lake’s most intriguing landmarks — a red-brick beauty resting quietly along the edge of Gilgal Gardens. It was the kind of property that stops you in your tracks — full of soul, a little mysterious, and surrounded by the sort of...
