BLACK LIVES MATTER.
In addition to the petitions we're signing and donations we're making, we're committing to playing more of an active roll in leveraging our privilege to help our community—and in particular, those members of it that have been kept down for far too long—wherever and however we can.
This issue is not a small one. Its roots are hundreds of years old and they've grown deep in this country. To stand by as systemic racism and injustice continue to poison our country is unacceptable. We're making changes so that our actions will better reflect our principles as a company and as a COLLECTIVE. With the right tools—and a lot of love and respect—we're confident we can build a strong, bright future with room enough for everyone. In the meantime, here are a few resources we're using to support local, Black-owned businesses, to get acquainted with and donate to nonprofits, and to further educate ourselves about the injustices that this country was built upon. We know this doesn't cover it. Not even close.
HERE ARE A FEW OF OUR FIRST STEPS.
