Of all the stunning spaces and rapturous residences we've made ourselves acquainted with over the last decade or so, this St. Mary's reverie ranks among our dizziest daydreams (she's even been dubbed a Place of Worship). Not only is the crown jewel tucked safely into one of our absolute favorite neighborhoods, St. Mary's Circle, but she's sporting some of the best views in the valley. The mod casa is completely custom and was built from the ground up by its current owners. Translation: every window and wall therein was placed with the utmost sense of intention. Primarily built as a space for housing guests, the home is open, fluid, and fully-functional - all while remaining supremely pretty. The current owners hand-picked the spot and eagerly awaited the unobscured views of the Oquirrhs, but "the quiet was a happy surprise". Other happy surprises you'll find: the remarkably minimalist kitchen (with caseless jams, a picture window, and stove and wine fridge hidden just out of sight), the full home automation (the owner is a self-proclaimed tech geek), and the fact that every room in the house has mountain or city views the likes of which could easily land on a postcard. The entire main floor is one fluid family space. The formal dining area is connected to the sitting area - open the wall of windows and it connects to the patio as well. Because of the unique layout of the hillside plot, the home's fabulous outdoor space (arguably another room in and of itself) backs up snuggly to the mountain, making for a prime perch from which to perfect one's tan. She's a modern, mountainside masterpiece, the likes of which we don't figure you'll soon see again. Our expert opinion: act. Fast.
