The Daily SLC
Kerri FukuiWorked in collaboration with owner, Ryan Lowder, to revitalize the existing space, which included floor-to-ceiling windows and a 33-foot fireplace. Difficult layout hurdles were navigated by incorporating a serpentine counter that lent focus to the finishes and allowed for effortless traffic flow. We landed on a thoughtful but casual vibe by mixing materials and textures: brick tile and marble is balanced by brass wainscotting and corduroy plaster, and a playful wallpaper is juxtaposed with vintage lighting from Italy and cast iron table bases.
