Pretty Bird, Park City

Lauren Kerr
Pretty meets practical was the concept behind the design of Pretty Bird, Park City. When conceptualizing the design of a highly trafficked space, there were many functional elements to keep in mind; the flow, the durability of materials, comfort, etc. Of course, as a designer it’s not all about function, form holds much space in the creative process and the goal here, was to marry the two. The intention was to have a variety of finishes and materials that could withstand the grazing of a ski boot or a bump of a bike petal, all while introducing a fresh, unexpected, and earth inspired color palette. It’s no coincidence that this description is true of the interior, as well as the food - both shall stand the test of time. All around a win-win, if I do say so myself.
