Racial inequality in this country--and the tolerance for it--has to end. For many, addressing social and political issues as a business can be uncomfortable. But to ignore the just unrest happening locally and nationally right now is impossible. And when so many companies reap incalculable benefits from this country's systems of racial injustice--the longstanding horrors of which are becoming increasingly visible--continued silence is inexcusable. The disparity of privilege in our country is very real. And while many of our employees benefit from that privilege, we're hopeful that it can be wielded for good and for change. We humbly admit that we don't have the answers. But we are listening. We know that drastic change is necessary, and we're committed to seeing and challenging the deep-rooted inequity that exists in America. We want to support those in positions of power who will rise to the challenge of deconstructing systems of injustice, and who will hold themselves and one another accountable.
