Wasatch Studio Tour

Wasatch Studio Tour

Date: 10/12/19 - 10/13/19
Time: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Location: CHC HQ, 645 E South Temple and all around SLC!

Think of it like a weekend-long art stroll through the greater Salt Lake Valley, held October 12-13th (10am - 6pm both days). The Wasatch Studio Tour (WST) is a concept modeled on similar annual tours held in our favorite arts cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boise, Phoenix, and Denver. WST introduces art enthusiasts and collectors to emerging and nationally recognized artists right in their studios, instead of in a gallery setting.

Founded by local artists and business people, supported by an all-volunteer board, and administered by participating artist David LeCheminant, the WST brings together the talents of over 120 painters, sculptors, jewelry-makers, ceramicists, glass artists, photographers and masters of mixed media. Meet the artists in their element, and explore some new parts of our energetic arts enclave you may not have yet visited. No doubt you’ll spot members of our design team out and about scouting for their next perfect pieces.

And make sure to stop in at our own COLLECTIVE offices to say ‘hey!’: we’ll be supporting the WST’s downtown and SLC Avenues-adjacent artists as a host ‘hub’ site with refreshments, restrooms, and, of course, free hugs and smilin’ faces.

Plan your artsy adventure by checking out the WST website, where artists can be located by medium, location, or name. It’s an incredible opportunity to talk with creators about their work, purchase pieces directly from the source, and generally show our love and support for the creative cultivators of our community. cityhomeCOLLECTIVE is proud to sponsor this tour along with arts leaders including Publik Coffee, Utah Arts Festival, Utah Arts Alliance and City Weekly.
