All things aesthetic. Blending the diverse talents of both local and national creators, this year’s Art Meets Fashion event will bring SLC the vanguard of modern beauty, personified for a cause. This year marks the 5th annual, Salt Lake City exclusive, artistic event, which will go off on Thursday, Nov. 6th at Publik Coffee Roasters. One featured artist ranks among our most favored; the COLLECTIVE’s own Mark Seely will be showing with a bevy of other fantastic creators [listed below] for an exhibition titled, Liminality: The Space Between Spaces. One of the best parts of this year’s event? AMF 2014 will raise funds to give a creative grant to both an emerging fashion designer and artist.

It’s imagination and talent with the gravy of reciprocity. Breathing life into art, from art.

The exhibition will be open to the public as of November 21st, curated and hanging beautifully at Photo Collective Studio, where it will be on display for a solid two weeks. All proceeds from art sales will benefit the new artist fund and those responsible for creating the piece. The list of visiting artists is as impressive as it is nationally and internationally varied: Azamat Akhmadbaev [St. Petersburg, Russia], Josh Bowe [Llansanffraid, Powys, UK], Andre Elliot [Sacramento, CA], Melinda Matayas [London, UK/ Hungary], Alex McAdoo [Seattle, WA], Shelley Rothenburger [Vancouver, BC], Jacob Van Loon [Chicago, IL], Heath West [Houston, TX]. Local Artists include the crafty likes of Matt Monson, Shelley Huynh, Trevor Christensen, Richard Gress, Rachel Domingo, Jared Knight, Andrew Rice, and [aforementioned hunk] Mark Seely. Click the link, grab your tickets and head to Publik to get inspired. Art’s where it’s at.
