Ahhh, the majesty of Fall time: The leaves are changing, there’s a welcome briskness in the morning air, pumpkin spice-flavored everything dots the shelves of our local shops, and the political climate of the nation is boiling over in a belligerent frenzy. It’s the time of year when those things we find most beautiful and pretty damn ugly are thrown together in a feverish juxtaposition, and many of us are left weary in its wake. What better time then, say we, to partake in a little positivity?
It’s time, once more, for the annual Equality Utah Allies Dinner! As we've mentioned before, “there are few things more self-evident (or bipartisan, for that matter) than the notion of equal rights for all,” so we’ll happily rally around an undeniable cause any day (and equality is pretty damn undeniable, say we). Featuring special guest Billy Porter (Tony Award Winner and Emmy-nominated star of POSE), this year’s bash is set to be more fabulous than ever before. Think: dinner, drinks, dancing, happy tears aplenty, and raising fudns for those who've been silenced for far too long.
