This southerly slice of Salt Lake is home to what locals fondly refer to as "the Spaghetti Bowl" (where I-80 and I-15 meet in a multi-directional frenzy). You'll find a largely commercial area, bordered on both sides by residential 'hoods. Here, you're square in the middle of it all, and you won't miss a thing.

This area is home to a Farr Better ice cream locale (beware of brain freeze), the South Salt Lake Library, and all the meaty goodness of Salt & Smoke Meats, so ‘twould seem your bases are covered. What’s more, the TRAX line regularly runs through these parts, so you can easily hop a train to the north (come Twilight Concert Series season) or south (for all that RSL match hooliganism).
Dinner and a show never sounded so accessible.
