We were smitten the moment we stepped inside this modern take on the mountain cabin. That dapper, wood burning stove should have tipped us off that we were in for romance. There's a quiet energy to this space. Perhaps it is the openness of it, how the kitchen and dining and living rooms connect. The upstairs loft, too. Or, perhaps it is the fact that the home sits tucked among ancient firs and features views that will have any city dweller swooning. Offering plenty of square footage and bedrooms enough for the whole gang. There is still privacy to be found here. Solace and sanctuary. A place to unwind, to recharge, to create. We love the lower levels optional usage, too. Come ski season and the Sundance Film Festival, the two bedrooms, bath, full kitchen, and separate entrance have us thinking cash flow. With a three car garage and an additional equipment garage, a wraparound deck and an intimate, outdoor space that is ideal for entertaining. Or sunning on a lazy, summer day. We can't imagine a more perfect mountain house to call home.
