There’s something to be said for putting just the right amount of space in just the right spot, and we’d say the owners of this delicious dish have done just that. This little number (daydream-worthy front porch included) is perched on the cusp of Capitol Hill and one of our favorite up ‘n’ coming ‘hoods, Marmalade. Not only are these sweet streets (Quince, Apricot, and Walnut among them) incredibly walkable and oh-so-charming, but they’re also the soon-to-be home of a new branch of the Salt Lake City Public Library. The updated interior is a breezy, spacious, and well-thought-out surprise (also: newer appliances, water heater, furnace, and electrical). Hardwood floors, new paint, and nice, high ceilings make it feel more “spacious oasis” than “charming little casa”. The kitchen, living, and dining areas flow right into one another (again, thanks to a small project from the current owners), so parties with your peeps will be a cinch in any season. We’d say this is a good place to put down roots and grow. This is the good life, folks.
