Change is on the wind, people. It's the time of year when one wakes to a slight nip in the air, and the sun dips down a bit earlier every evening. 'Tis the season of Toddies and turkey; make no mistake, we love the brisk 'n' cozy months. Be that as it may, we're still clinging to these last summer breezes like nobody's business--which is precisely why we gathered the gang to head up the tip-top of Federal Heights for a fancy pool party and a quick dip. The weather was, well, perfect, and this first-rate pool happens to be one of our faves. The home attached to said swim spot was snapped up by one of our dearest COLLECTIVE clients a few years back. Being born and raised in the Swiss school of precision, he quickly did away with unused bedrooms and bathrooms, making room for more wide open space. The pool was designed (in part by yours truly) to reflect that same minimalist lesson of less is more. The clean lines are juxtaposed perfectly by the wild that surrounds the watering hole--lush greenery and a slew of unruly wildflowers. It's the perfect perch in which to get lost. From here, you can see all of downtown, but they can't even wink an eye at you (see: the perfect place to not get tan lines).
