It's a beautiful thing when passionate foodies and willing winos [we're both] join forces for an evening of consumption in the great outdoors. We mentioned last week that Wasatch Mountain Table Dining Series takes place sporadically throughout the summer at Solitude Mountain Resort. Given the thoughtful pairings of local wine and food purveyors, we had to see/taste the magic for ourselves. Executive Chef, Michael Richey, rolled out four courses so heavenly that not even the strongest willed could stop the eating. Snake River Wineries and Ruth Lewandowski Wines [the brave souls pioneering the wine industry in our region] offered generous servings of their artfully-crafted glassfuls that complimented the evenings' fare perfectly. Oh, is the sweltering heat not enough to make you run for the mountains? This should do it.
