With the SLC temps on the up ‘n’ up, we at cityhomeCOLLECTIVE will take damn near any excuse to get outside and dip into our delicious lil’ South Temple neighborhood. Seriously -- have you strolled this street lately? More crushworthy than Rob Lowe in a Brat Pack movie. Our gang of galant pals over at the Utah Heritage Foundation and Salt Lake Modern seem to agree with this mode of thinking, ‘cause they’ve found it fitting to stage a walking tour that is quite literally right up our alley.
The UHF has joined forces with Salt Lake Modern to present Modernism on South Temple: A Walking Tour. The jaunt is set to spotlight the story of “South Temple’s progression into Modernism between 1925 and 1975”. The tour kicks off Friday, May 9th on the front steps of our neighbors at the Masonic Temple. Bonus: Our HQ sits square on the roster, so if you’ve ever wanted to snoop in on our COLLECTIVE command center, you’ve got a perfectly legit excuse.
Walking Tour: Modernism on South Temple | Friday, May 9th, 2:30pm to 4:30pm | Tour begins on the steps of Masonic Temple
