In the instance that you haven't heard word of the upcoming UMOCA Gala, listen well: the annual affair is a chance to dress up, get down, and raise funds in the name of contemporary art. Rubbing elbows with artsy-types is always a good time, and the costumes--ahem, outfits--never fail to inspire. Last year's fete was entitled the Diamond Horseshoe Roundup, and we didn't hesitate to deck ourselves in denim from H to T. This year's theme (which we first revealed to you here, along with a few of the fabulous featured talents), is VICIOUS, and it's defined by the UMOCA Gala’s Art Director Gary Vlasic as “What anarchy’s like as it applies to being in 2015″. We're an anticipatory heap of studs and steel-toe boots over here, and we hope to see every last one of you there (in either cocktail or punk attire--but we sincerely hope it's the latter). Grab the Sid to your Nancy, grab your pocketbook, and get Vicious, y'all.
