Thursday night, delight.
The Twilight line-up gets more impressive each year; 2012 will see Nas, Passion Pit, Iron & Wine, M. Ward, and Common, among others. Shows have been free in the past, but - praise be to SLC - they've decided to charge $5 a head this year. A wee cost to see solid musicians, we're hoping it will weed out the vast numbers that seem to have no interest in the actual music. The beer/wine booths are still here, thus ensuring our COLLECTIVE presence at each and every show. Plus, the set-up at Pioneer promises a view of the stage from pretty much any spot in the park.
We caught the first show of the year - Beach House and its many attractive followers to be found below. Weather was perfect, locals were happy, music was sublime. Click on the link below for advance tickets and line-up info.
