Sunday, December 16th | The Leonardo | 5pm
Scott Smith is a Salt Lake native and talented, local artist who -- once upon a time -- left for New York City. Lucky for us all, though, Scott hasn't forgotten where his roots be. Back in SLC for a minute, Scott's sharing some high-caliber work that was cultivated and finely-tuned on the opposing coast. Co-created with Alexandra Harbold and Conor Provenzano, Senses 5 came to life in a remarkably short period of 4 weeks, and it's got our COLLECTIVE attention. Senses 5 is a mixed-media performance art piece; a theatrical story of one man's exploration of the science of sense through personal narrative, pop music, and neuroscience. In the words of Scott, "if there isn't a story, it's just performance art". We received an invite from Scott for a preview of the performance [at the The Leonardo building downtown], and we left beaming with pride that this caliber of talent and culture was here in our city. Well worth seeing.
Tickets are $10/person or $5 with student ID. Available online or in advance at The Leonardo admission desk. For information, call 801-531-9800 ext. 202.

"Surrounding things transmit their images to the senses and the senses transfer them to the Sensation. Sensation sends them to the Common Sense, and by it they are stamped upon the memory." -Leonardo da Vinci
