Preservation Utah | Modern Homes Tour

Location: Cottonwood Club neighborhood, Holladay

Showcasing the designs of celebrated architect Stephen MacDonald (through the Salt Lake Home Builders Association), this year's Salt Lake Modern Homes Tour will feature some fantastic examples of mid-century modern, chalet-modern modern, and ranch style spaces. (Fun fact: many of this Holladay neighborhood's houses were built for the 1955 Parade of Homes.) A hand-selected few from this 'hood will be held open for your perusing pleasure on Saturday, October 5th, so you'll have the opportunity to browse these rad, retro architectural case studies up-close and personal. Better still? Proceeds from this event will go to Preservation Utah, one of our favorite local non-profits, dedicated to preserving some of SLC's most beautiful and historic architecture.
