If you're reading this, chances are you're a bit partial to the salty streets and majestic mountains that SLC boasts so brilliantly. And chances are you know that we are, too. Which is precisely why we were so thrilled to rally the troops and head up Emigration Canyon for some good old fashioned booze 'n' views at this deliciously modern mountain home (which, as it were, happens to be totally, 100% up for grabs). Few things are as satisfying as heading up a wooded mountain trail to find this architecturally avant-garde space shrouded in wildlife. Best of both worlds? Oh. Yes. The current owners of this mountain-side home have lived many-a happy, healthy, fruitful year here (and by fruitful, we mean one of them is Nobel Prize winner, and the other is a flourishing artist/gardener). First impressions-wise, the vibrant space is welcoming, cozy-yet-open, and bursting at the baseboards with positive energy. Perhaps it was the circular layout of the main living space surrounding us like a big ol' bear hug, perhaps it was our kindly hosts, and perhaps it was them views (we're talking not one, not two, but three canyons viewed from that be-grassed lookout deck)--but we couldn't wipe those fresh air-infused smiles off of our faces. In short, the scenery was grand, but the company was (somehow) grander. We're grateful to have gotten a chance to pop into this supremely special space before it changes hands, but we assume there's still much popping to be done once it does (please?). Breathe in... breathe out.... Smell that? Home.
