A few things you should know about cityhomeCOLLECTIVE: 1) We’re fiercely loyal to our city. We think SLC is an underrated creative mecca on the heels of lotsa real cool shit. Hell, we feel that way about the whole state of Utah, come to that [and we’ll gladly engage in a friendly bit of sparring with anyone who disagrees]. 2) We’re busting tail on the daily to come up with ways to celebrate said city and state. If you see it on our site, there’s a good reason for that. Whether it’s a home we’re selling, a space we designed, a fantastic property we’re featuring [in collaboration with the owners], or a business/local worth highlighting…we don’t bite the ideas of others, we just celebrate ’em. 3) As a result of all that, the content you see on this site is ours. We do the research, high-fiving, and writing to tell the story, and we take the photos at which you love to gaze. These pretty shots aren’t the work of strangers, downloaded illegally so we can grab a few extra followers. Noooo, no. We’ve just been lucky enough to find some talented folks to do the shootin’.

Which brings us to our point [pause, while we casually and carefully step down from soapbox]…cityhomeCOLLECTIVE could use a couple more goodly photogs. We’re overflowing with new content over here; so much to cover that we need to add to the fold, so to speak. If you’ve got a thing for working from behind the lens, and fine-ass composition is no stranger to you, we should talk. We’re looking for all sorts here: architectural, portraiture, documentary-style…we need help keeping this site as pretty as we’d like.

Check the lighting. Send your portfolio. Click the shutter. Oh, snap.

Being a real estate agent is a very interesting profession. Objectively, you are there to assist and provide professional advice to clients wanting to purchase or sell homes. Yet, I find myself connecting with people on a deeper level that goes beyond the surface of what I thought my job to be...

7th Annual Bunny Hop!
March 29, 2017 |
There are certain staples of spring whose absence would throw all of those warm weather vibes straight out the window: sunshiney patios, the budding of the trees on South Temple, and one of our favorite fair-weather events, Mr. Jesse Walker’s Bunny Hop. That’s right. Now in its seventh year, this COLLECTIVELY adored event is gearing […]
