We've been singing the praises of mid-century architecture for a while, now. We looove when we get the chance to showcase great architectural examples both large and small, and we love it even more when we get to show these gems off as our own listings. And it's an even bigger treat still when we get the chance to sit down for a chat with the original architect of one of said mid-century gems, to get some first hand insight about what makes a property so special (besides the obvious). We recently had such a pleasure, and sat down to talk shop with the architect of this stunning space on St. Mary's Circle, Robert Fowler. He designed this amazing, ground-breaking space in 1956, and it still stands now as it did then (minus a beautifully-renovated kitchen--which, by the way, has Mr. Fowler's stamp of approval). We chatted with him about the original design, as well as his encounter at the home of one Frank Lloyd Wright. It's a rare treat, folks, to hear directly from the brilliant mind of an architectural feat like this one. Listen well…and if you'd like to see it for yourself, dial the number below.
