Earthwings
This counts as one of the more fascinating attractions at the Farmer’s Market this year. It's Eric McGill and a few feathered friends, slangin' good-cause vibes and such. Eric founded the non-profit organization Earthwings, which provides traveling educational programs and displays of live owls, falcons, hawks, and more for the community. Eric is a falconer who's worked with birds since he was a kid, and his passion for wildlife has inspired him to create up-close opportunities for everyone to learn about our feathered pals and chat about conservation. The end goal: a public wild life center of his own...but in the mean time, his noble grass-roots efforts are drawing crowds. You can find Eric somewhere within the large circle of market-goers, announcing bird facts and providing unique photo opportunities with these sky-friendly smarties. It'll likely be the closest you’ll get to an owl or hawk in your lifetime. Earthwings is also available for school functions, private parties, and varied events. You should give him a wing [oh, boom!].
