Some things pair well with a fine wine. Say cheese, quince...and this house on Whitewater. If entertaining is your thing, you're staring squarely at a "look no further" situation. Precisely why we decided to pop a few corks and flock--as a COLLECTIVE--to this beauty in Holladay for an eve. There's plenty to swoon over here: the kitchen is a chef's dream, for one. Wolf and Viking appliances (we mentioned those here, when this home hit the market), and it's textbook for entertaining, what with that graceful blend right into the dining room (a.k.a. plenty of open space for guests to mix and mingle, as seen below). We're thinking that with all those windows pouring in natural light from every direction, you could probably throw a soiree every evening, just to casually showcase the beautiful Utah sunsets from your dining room. That all said, we headed to this house in anticipation of being entertained outdoors, too...because it's more than ripe for that sort of thing. While the sun was still blasting from above, we sauntered over to the shaded sitting area just above the basketball court for some appies and chit-chat. Once the evening started to settle in, it was easy enough for us to catch a long, lingering glimpse of the sunset from the top deck. Oquirrhs outlined to the west, cityscape to the north, and us happily perched right where we were. This is exactly what 'home' is supposed to feel like.
