To throw a proper spring fete, one must have the following: a beautiful space, a few beautiful people, and a proper bocce ball set. Lucky for us, we welcomed the vernal equinox with all of the aforementioned. When we first saw this space and that jaw-dropping backyard, we couldn’t wait to do it a proper shindig. Between the kitchen, the gaming room, and that backyard, the evening did not disappoint. The food was delish, the conversation a delight and the weather sublime. Our gracious hosts, Roland and Shawn, gave us carte blanche access to their home, which included not only crashing said kitchen but also playing a fierce game of tennis and making a run at their billards table [note: Roland is a stone-cold hustler]. In all, it was a splendid start to the budding season. Best part: this winner is on the market…and now's as good a time as any to start having nights like ours in a home like this.
