What makes a space the right one? The materials used...the lighting, the finishes, the color palate? Obviously. The design itself...the smart use of space, the flow from room to room? Most certainly. The way it makes you feel...centered, grounded, relaxed after an intolerant day at the office? Abso-freaking-lutely. The moment we stepped into this mod condo tucked away at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon, we knew we were in for something delicious. Between the mood-setting lighting, the handsome kitchen cabinetry, and that private balcony (not to mention the hot tub downstairs, just outside the lounge), the ambiance for our little soiree just felt gooooood. Our friend, Drew, has set his sights on a larger place, and we wanted to give him a right proper send off. It is not uncommon for spots on the East Bench to remain dated and woefully out of style, relying on stellar location to establish desirability. This one, however, has been remodeled and dressed to the veritable nines…and it's a stone's throw from the canyon.
