Life In Your Space | Pinecrest Cyn.

We’ve harped on it a time or two before, but we just can’t stress enough how much we admire those bold individuals that live a little more wildly and do things a little differently. We love those folks who decide drop it all to sail to Tahiti, or leave that job they hate to become organic farmers. As we mentioned in the original listing write-up on this home, “We adore the movers, relish the shakers, and we proudly ‘hear, hear!’ the makers.” Magic happens when genres are crossed and boundaries are broken, so all favor to those bold enough to go where few have gone before.

it was hard for even the most staunch city slicker to not get the appeal.

To reach the strikingly-modern canyon home, our crew embarked on a snowy hike. In the summer, the private road is easily driveable, but come snowy months, one is forced to park at the bottom and walk to the top (and, given those vistas, “force” is a term used very loosely, here). “I couldn’t help thinking about how great it would be to have that walk home after a long day of work–to have that meditation time. How incredible to be able to park, pause, walk up, and arrive home refreshed,” says listing agent, Cody Derrick. The current owners lived here for many-a happy year–and even hauled a baby up and down these slopes–all in the name of peace, quiet, and a fall-to-your-knees kind of view. “Being there in the winter, it hit home how beautiful a life it would be, if someone was bold enough to take it,” adds Cody. Our invitation to you: come and get it.
