Ivanhoe | Follow the Yellow Brick…

May 9, 2016 |

List Price: Sold

Neighborhood: Central City

Property Profile: 1,033 sq. ft. | 2 bed, 1 bath

Our Opinion: We’ve sold our share of properties in the coveted Ivanhoe building in recent years, and we’ve pretty much fallen in love with every last one of them. You’ll want for nothing in the Ivanhoe…it’s modernized and historically-charming in equal parts with great views and some seriously good energy. The location is nothing short of ideal–walkability in spades here. You’re just on the outskirts of downtown, which means quiet when you want it and perfect proximity to SLC’s best restaurants, the Farmer’s Market, and events like Utah Arts Fest, Craft Lake City, SLC Pride, and myriad others. This particular unit is all dreams-do-come-true on the top floor, and the only in the building still boasting original, 1908 bird’s-eye maple flooring. Chef’s kitchen (complete with fantastic appliances, granite counter tops, and that magical bit of exposed brick) is beautifully connected to the living and dining areas, making it just ripe for entertaining. Roomy bedrooms, and the bathroom has undergone a pretty luxurious upgrade. Add to all that secure entry, your own parking stall, and that fountain-adorned courtyard, and we’d say the deal has been sufficiently sweetened. Only thing left to do is take it.

There are certain staples of spring whose absence would throw all of those warm weather vibes straight out the window: sunshiney patios, the budding of the trees on South Temple, and one of our favorite fair-weather events, Mr. Jesse Walker’s Bunny Hop. That’s right. Now in its seventh year, this COLLECTIVELY adored event is gearing […]
