Our Opinion: The concept behind Waverly Station was to create a community of working professionals and urban hipsters who felt safe and at-home living in South SLC. Those lucky enough to call one of these cheery townhomes their casa will tell you the idea was #nailed. Though they love all that is Waverly, our friends, Hunter and Charlynn, at 127 [Iverkeithing: the name alone…in-ver-triguing, no?] have decided it’s high time to move on to the next phase of their lives. What are they leaving behind? Well, first things first: it’s a roomy, south facing unit, which means glorious sunlight all the live-long year, plus it overlooks the clubhouse (rather than another three-story building like most other units). The cabinetry has been upgraded–flooring, lighting, and hardware, too. It’s been wired for sound, and the open kitchen–with its granite counters and stainless steel appliances–is just begging for your first house party. The walk-in closets are nearly big enough to sublet (nearly), and the vaulted ceilings create the sense of even more space. With private courtyards, attached two-car garages, a clubhouse and fitness room, you may never want to leave the environs of Waverly; but if you must, TRAX is just around the corner. Harmony Park, too, for those leisurely, summer strolls, yellow lab dutifully on your left hip, and a friendly “hey, neighbor” from every last passerby. Life is but a dream.
