Home is where you hunker down. It’s where you pick what goes and what stays, and where you put your truest you on display. Create the space you need, say we, and it’ll support the life you like to live. As a COLLECTIVE, there are few things we hold nearer and dearer than the notion of “home," and this is precisely why we jumped so quickly at the chance to team up once more with Radio West for another installment of Habitat.
As we mentioned in the last video, which featured SLC book-seller Ken Sanders, Habitat is a “video series that celebrates those locals living authentically and explores the spaces that they happily call ‘home.’” In this video installment, we're thrilled to bring you one of our absolute favorite Salt Lake citizens, Bob Bliss. Since his birth in 1921, there are few things Bob hasn't done. He's an architect, furniture designer, MIT graduate, and has served as dean of the University of Utah’s Graduate School of Architecture as well as President of the Utah Heritage Foundation. He's a delightful, intelligent, intentional human being with a home to match.
"IT USUALLY TAKES ME AN HOUR, OFTEN TWO HOURS, TO FINISH THE NEW YORK TIMES IN THE DINING ROOM..."
Watch the video below to take a look into Bob's space, which he bought with his late wife, Anna. It's a beautifully blended marriage of both of their styles (his furniture designs, her paintings), and a lovely addition to the series.
LET US [DISCOVER, DELIGHT IN, FALL FOR, REVERE, PRAISE, PRINT, ADMIRE] CELEBRATE YOUR SPACE.
