Our Opinion: SLC in the summer is a dream. Downtown SLC in the summer? Don't get us started. This 'hood is poppin' off year round, but when the temps rise (albeit sometimes to an ungodly high), the walkability of our salty streets truly shines. Think of it as your hub--your home base. From here, you can walk to all the goodies at Pierpont, 2nd & 2nd, and the upcoming Twilight Concert Series at Pioneer Park (see: you'll never want for parking at the notoriously road rage-inducing event). The plethora of nightlife necessities surrounding this number is enticing, to be sure, but the "well-kept warehouse" vibe within will easily beckon you indoors. Exposed ducts are accented perfectly by a tidy white paint job, and lots of windows lend the feel of a breezy Brooklyn loft. The kitchen (outfitted with newer appliances and totally flush cabinetry) connects seamlessly to the main living space, so you know parties will be a cinch in this space. The layout is open as can be, but there's just enough "everything in its place". The bedroom is privately tucked away behind a barn door, and the bathroom (with tub!) is immaculate as can be in all white err-thing. This is comfortable and compact summertime city living. Get it while it's hot. White hot.
