If you're out of the loop that is the local music scene, allow us to pull you back in; friends, we give you Bullets & Belles. This local trio skillfully dishes what they've dubbed "neo-doo-wop-folk", and it's good and ripe for the listening [go ask Pandora]. It's both harmonic and poetic -- tunes that go down oh-so-easily. Ryan Cron is the lead male vocalist and co-writer with wife, Erin Haley, who belts out harmonizing vocals with Noel Sandberg. The three recently released an acclaimed, debut LP "Be Glad" [SLUG and City Weekly are all over it]. They also shot a video for their single "Exit" at the Creative Arts Academy in Bountiful, teaming up with dancers, Alexandra Bradshaw and Brad Beakes from Ririe-Woodbury, who choreographed a little something as tasty as the audio. It's good stuff, folks, and it's release is fresh-off-the-line today. Take a moment and treat your senses.
