There is a unique comfort to be found in the space of a content occupier; if a home owner loves his/her home, you likely will, too. Some time ago, the COLLECTIVE helped our friends, Brit and Jimmy, find the space they love, and we joined them recently for a Sunday brunch. We know Brit to be an integral part of Wasatch Community Gardens, so it comes as no surprise that they've turned their backyard into a blissful city-farm oasis. They've got a passion for sowing one's own fare, and they're executing it perfectly.
Brunch with Brit and Jimmy is a welcoming and spoiling affair. We meandered through the garden, chatted with the chicks, and devoured a homestead meal that included garden-grown, pumpkin-coffee cake, crispy bacon, and incredible quiche [eggs courtesy the hens in the backyard]. Add to that some perfectly-ripe, fresh fruit and delectable drinks in mason jars. Yum, Brit & Jimmy.
Yum.
