Tastemakers | Eat + Drink Up

Since we attended this delicious event last year, we thought it only fair to warn you ahead of time this year. Get a VIP ticket, a clean fork, and a smart bib. Salt Lake Magazine’s Tastemakers is here.

This Thursday and Friday [the 30th & 31st], be sure to skip merrily to Gallivan Avenue [formerly Gallivan Center] for samples from some of our city’s tastiest food and drink joints. Bites from Aristo’s, Caffe Niche, and La Caille – among plenty of others – will be dished, and plenty of wine will be on hand for pairing and general enjoyment. Bonus: this year, for die-hard lovers of local food and drink, there’s a VIP ticket option. This golden pass will include entry for both days, access to the VIP lounge, and 5 free drink pairings. Those wise enough to opt for it will also get in on exclusive tastings from Saffron Valley East, Rico’s/Frida’s, and Roots Supper Club. Not to worry, though…the tasting pass will still get amazing food and drink in your mouth. With the location of this year’s event, it’s all gonna have the feel of a delicious street festival, and we plan to COLLECTIVELY sample and sip both days. Come outside and eat/drink/be all merry.

7th Annual Bunny Hop!
March 29, 2017 |
There are certain staples of spring whose absence would throw all of those warm weather vibes straight out the window: sunshiney patios, the budding of the trees on South Temple, and one of our favorite fair-weather events, Mr. Jesse Walker’s Bunny Hop. That’s right. Now in its seventh year, this COLLECTIVELY adored event is gearing […]
