Stage Is Set | Dakota Loft

October 23, 2013 |
Stacey Jo Rabiger

List Price: Off Market

Neighborhood: Warehouse District

Property Profile: 1,500 sq. ft. live/work space | 1 bed, 1.5 bath

Our Opinion: We’re particularly keen on this space, since we staged it and all. But it’s also got the few essential details that make it a perfect city loft. We say aesthetic comes first: exposed brick, large windows, multiple levels, gloss-finished concrete throughout, and views for days. cityhomeCOLLECTIVE was also behind the staging to set the scene, but the good stuff doesn’t stop there. This loft has several living spaces: an open first floor with a half bath that is accessed by the street — this can serve as either a live or work space [commercial frontage on 400 W ain’t easy to come by, friends]. The second floor contains an open-concept living, dining, and brand-new kitchen space, along with necessities like a secluded bedroom, enclosed bath, large walk-in closet, and spacious storage/laundry area. There’s a nice, private patio, should you decide to sip a glass of your favorite bevy outside. City living is all about proximity, people, and this place is nailing it. Your front door is a literal stone’s throw from some of SLC’s most tasty restaurants, sexy shopping, best outdoor concerts, and TRAX [which’ll obviously take you anywhere you want to go]. But you’re probably just gonna park yourself inside, ’cause like we said, this is good city livin’.

There are certain staples of spring whose absence would throw all of those warm weather vibes straight out the window: sunshiney patios, the budding of the trees on South Temple, and one of our favorite fair-weather events, Mr. Jesse Walker’s Bunny Hop. That’s right. Now in its seventh year, this COLLECTIVELY adored event is gearing […]
