Not long ago, our friend, Sam, was eager to put down roots in our city. So when one of the residences at Sampson Altadena hit the market, she jumped at the chance to call to call it ‘home’. The handsome architecture of these smartly-placed buildings caught her eye (as they have ours for years), and the coziness of the space her heart. And, to be sure, she’s loved living here. Life, however, has called her across the pond, and she’s getting prepped to part ways with her beloved SLC abode. To send her off in a right proper fashion, we invited a few friends over for a mean little soiree, complete with appetizers from Sugar House’s Vietnamese Bistro Somi (hell yeah, crispy spring rolls) and a few libations. It was a shindig full of hearty laughs and waxing all nostalgic about good times had in the space. You can trust that this one’s good for all your gatherings. Here’s to wishing a good friend great fortune in her travels…the UK won’t know what hit it. Keep an eye on the website for details.
