Brew + ‘Q | Tonight!

September 5, 2019 |
Flyer: Adam Deleeuw

If it seems like we’ve been a bit aggressive with our Brew + ‘Q reminders, it’s because we JUST DON’T WANT YOU TO FORGET. See, this annual backyard bonanza (the 7th, to be precise) is a clever cocktail of eats both savory and sweet, killer beats, and the best sorts of drinks. But in that delicious mix–being shaken up Cocktail-style by a mid-1980s Tom Cruise–the most important ingredient is Y-O-U.

TONIGHT, friends…ready yourselves for f-u-n.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, allow us to paint the scene. You arrive to our back parking lot with a friend or two. The air is the perfect brand of late-September crisp after sunset (alternatively: it’s 100 degrees, pouring rain, or cold enough for coats–we’ve partied through all types of delightfully unpredictable Utah weather). You’re met by the sights and smells of all your fave local spots: Trestle Tavern is serving up pretzel bites with cheese, Pat’s BBQ is dishing the usual slider perfection, Pizza Bus is slinging slices of our favorite pie, Havana Eat‘s has warm empanadas and fries for you and yours, JDawgs is hustlin’ to get you the special sauce on the dog you want, and Yoko Ramen is there with *sigh* exactly what you’re craving. To wash it all down?  Kiitos Brewing will be on hand with blonde, amber, and pale ales, as well as a couple other tasty brews. And when you’re ready for dessert, you peruse the goodies brought by C H I P (yup) and Amour Cafe (uh huh). And all the while you’re surrounded by some of the friendliest faces in SLC and wrapped in some sweet, sweet melodies, courtesy of our fave neighborhood DJ, Avenues Prom Committee.

As we’ve mentioned before, the ‘Q is our COLLECTIVE attempt to give back to this community just an ounce of the love and support that all y’all give us on the regular. It’s a party, when all is said and done, and we’re just trying to have times good enough to hold us over until next year. As always, this shindig is completely free to you, so bring nothing but a smile and your dancing shoes (and, if you’re planning to partake in grown-up bevvies, photo proof that you’re allowed to do so).

DETAILS ON THE FLYER BELOW. SEE YOUR ACT THERE!
