This is the perfect balance between old and new, victorian and modern. Originally built in 1874, this cottage doubled in size with a modern addition of the back in the mid-90s. What resulted was the feeling of an eclectic loft, and we approve. Plenty of details to love, as well. Exposed brick? Check. Refinished oak floors? Yup. Oozing with style. Duh. Great room with large windows, skylights, and French doors leading to a patio that overlooks a fantastically-xeriscaped backyard and a rare two-car garage. Maybe the best part about this little dish is its proximity to all the good stuff: Trolley Square, 9th & 9th [and all the good restaurants/shops that come with it], and Liberty Park are all ridiculously close. Walkable, to say the least. Lovable, to be certain.
