Buddhist Retreat & Residence

  • May 31, 2012

    Location: Grover, Utah

Property Profile: New-construction project by Imbue Design | 1,200 sq. ft. residence + 500 sq. ft. Buddhist retreat

Our Opinion: It’s pretty simple on this one — we’re all moving to Grover. This residence/retreat is the very epitome of what modern should be. The photos and renderings are convincing enough, but we’ll offer some words of the owner, our friend Marci, to boot:

“It is intended to sit on the hillside like a Green Tara – left leg bent in (master bedroom and office space), right leg draped forward (living room, kitchen and second bedroom/ bath suite), with the red spiral stairs representing the central channel or spine of the house…the simple pallet of native rock, standing seam, ipe, concrete and glass, in conjunction with the clean, modern design, should stand the test of time and provide a maintenance-free, healthy-living environment.”

Stick around…we’ll keep you posted as this incredible space progresses.
