Engaged with the nature of form, sexuality, and identity, Mark Seely’s upcoming exhibit promises to be as intellectually challenging as it is visually engaging. And, in addition to featuring original art pieces, the opening reception also offers the opportunity to snag a signed and numbered print and enjoy a drink while perusing away.

Refuge
Arguably among the most interesting of SLC’s citizens, Mark Twight’s proclivity for mountain climbing has, since his retirement from the sport, led him down myriad equally interesting paths. A student of physical fitness during his entire climbing career, Mark later founded Gym Jones—a physical training facility known for whipping multiple movies stars, including the entire cast of 300, into shape for their roles. Mark’s multifaceted work has led him to nearly all corners of the globe and as he has captured his travels in a series of crisp, intriguing, and awe-inspiring photographs. Mark’s latest project, titled “Refuge,” offers a unique perspective on effort, environment, and emotion from a man who has experienced all three on a level foreign to most.
