Love Is In the Air

February 14, 2014 |

Today’s as good a day as any to let you all know what I love. I love this damn city. I love waking up to the layered beauty and interesting nuances of our crazy, growing Zion. On a made-up holiday that often seems designed to make us single folks feel like shit, I actually feel like I’m in a mutually loving relationship with my city. And I’d like to cut through the Hallmark-holiday crap and let you know that some true love is in the air…and it’s got nothing to do with cupid.

People come and go from this place every day, and everyone has an opinion. As a realtor, I’m in the unique position to hear the exit and entrance interviews. I hear about the concerns and the praises, but there is a general consensus. You are good. This city is fantastic. Our creative class is a massive one, and we have some outstanding achievements in the world of design and architecture. It’s time we all love where we live, folks. It’s time we take part in the creation, change, and forward progression of our little mecca. It’s time we all find or create the spots that we need — nay, deserve — to be living in. Call us already, kids. Our full-time job is loving you; let us sell your home, find you a new one, or design your dream casa. The COLLECTIVE crew is standing by, all rose in hand and shit.

Kisses,

There are certain staples of spring whose absence would throw all of those warm weather vibes straight out the window: sunshiney patios, the budding of the trees on South Temple, and one of our favorite fair-weather events, Mr. Jesse Walker’s Bunny Hop. That’s right. Now in its seventh year, this COLLECTIVELY adored event is gearing […]

It’s hard to hit aaallll the marks with a single home. Typically, you’ll find a few things you absolutely love and a few things you can’t wait to get in and change. “All needs met without a single tweak” is a rare thing, indeed…but if you’ll just hear us out. The home you see here […]
