Ivanhoe | Lucky #7
Uncategorized

List Price: Sold

Neighborhood: Central City

Property Profile: 1,033 sq. ft. | 2 bed, 1 bath

Our Opinion: For all her classic, historic charm and downtown walkability, we do so love the Ivanhoe. The exterior harkens to an era when carriages were perhaps a bit more mainstay, but the interiors have been deliciously redone. The result: a Victorian facade we’re totally crushing on mixed with modern conveniences/appliances in what’s commonly referred to as “the best of both worlds”. Each unit we’ve featured in this building has been sensational (you can peep a few past prizes here, here, and here), but this one just has a little bit more of that special something to offer. In this case, that “special something” happens to be square footage. Yup, this unit (lucky #7, to be precise) has plenty of room for stretching out, in the case that you’ve been lusting over recently-available one-bedroom units, but just can’t swing less than 800 sq. ft. This goody boasts over 1,000 sq. ft., two bedrooms, two storage units (for the tidy keeping of skis, sleeping bags, grandfather clocks), and a coveted secure parking space (these babies are valued at $10k, and not every unit gets one). This convenient, first-floor unit feels right grand and airy with its tall ceilings, formal dining space, and large, natural-light bidding windows. As always, the Ivanhoe bears gated, secured entry, and a fabulous courtyard in which to spend your summer days. This is stately downtown living at its best. Lucky you.

There are certain staples of spring whose absence would throw all of those warm weather vibes straight out the window: sunshiney patios, the budding of the trees on South Temple, and one of our favorite fair-weather events, Mr. Jesse Walker’s Bunny Hop. That’s right. Now in its seventh year, this COLLECTIVELY adored event is gearing […]
